Abstract Submission

The Local Organizing Committee and the Scientific Program Committee invite the Brazilian and international communities to submit abstracts to be considered for poster presentation at the CSDS 2021.

Abstracts can be submitted online until September 26, 2021

Instructions:

• Create an account and log in;
• Make a "New submission";
• Add the information about the authors; Title of the paper; Abstract (up to 250 words); and Keywords (at least three);
• Select the “Type of submission”;
• Submit.

Poster submission

• The submission deadline (for the paper to be included in the scientific program) is October 18, 2021;
• Each poster needs to be submitted as a pdf file with the following specifications:
• We adopt the poster specifications used by the Photonic Online Meetup. The following guidelines and sample are from their website:
  • Guidelines for designing images and tweeting (pdf);
  • Sample poster images (pdf).
• Here is an MS PowerPoint template (adapted from POM template).
• All posters must be submitted in English;
• The pdf of the poster should be send to 3rd.CSDS.2021@gmail.com with the subject “CSDS2021 – Poster submission”;
• All submitting authors should also send a link for a conference room (e.g. google meet or zoom) where the discussion will be conducted during the poster session. Each authors will act as host and chair of the poster discussion in that conference room. Please see the scientific program to see the time of your poster presentation;
• All posters and links to the conference rooms will be listed in the conference website.

Video submission

• Optionally, but highly recommended, a link to a video recording of up to three minutes can be submitted together with the poster. We recommend the authors to record their videos and upload them to YouTube or Vimeo;
• The link should be sent by email, together with the pdf of the poster, until October 18, 2021;
• The links for the videos will be listed in the conference website;
• Portuguese speaking students can record their video in Portuguese. However the video must have subtitles in English. Here you can find detailed instruction on how to create English subtitles: [video]

General instructions:

• All abstracts must be submitted online. No other forms of abstracts are permissible;
• The abstract is limited to one page;
• The number of abstracts submitted by a single participant is limited to two;
• All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee for the conference, and presenting authors will be informed of the status of their abstract (poster session, rejection) by October 06, 2021 ;
• All poster presentations will also be allocated to a particular scientific session.
• All presenting authors must have registered for the conference by October 18, 2021 , for their presentation to be included in the conference program.
